A new Pew Study on Social Networking Websites and Youth was published last week. Besides the interesting numbers (~ 55% of all young Americans are using online Social Networking plattsforms), Pew gives their definition of a social networking plattform:
A social networking site is an online place where a user can create a profile and build a personal network that connects him or her to other users.
